More than 1.8 million children in England - nearly one in five - are identified with additional needs, yet meaningful support is so often unlocked only by a formal plan, and those take time. Fewer than half of new education, health and care plans are issued within the legal 20-week deadline, and some children wait a year or more. Support arrives after a child is already struggling.

PupilPower gives teachers and SENCOs objective evidence of how a child is engaging and where they're struggling - and the practical tools to make adaptations in the classroom straight away, on the basis of need, rather than waiting for a diagnosis to unlock support.
And if a child does go on to need a formal diagnosis, they arrive with an early record of need already behind them. Needs-led inclusion, backed by evidence.
How it works
A 10-20 minute VR lesson.
The child slips on a headset and plays through a curriculum-aligned lesson - genuinely fun, genuinely educational. While they simply learn, eye-tracking quietly notices what a busy classroom can't: where attention holds, where it drifts, how a child works through a task.
What comes back to the teacher isn't a label or a score - it's objective evidence of engagement, building into a picture over time.

The government's 2026 Schools White Paper sets out where SEND support is heading: earlier help in mainstream classrooms, delivered on the basis of need - including a digital support plan for any child with identified needs, with no diagnosis required to trigger it. The direction of travel points exactly where we do.
