We don't build tools about children without the people who know them.
PupilPower only works if it works for everyone around a child - the teacher running it in a busy classroom, the SENCO making sense of what it shows, and the parent deciding whether to trust it at all. So we're building it with all three, openly, from the start.
In the classroom
You'll be the ones running this on an ordinary day. Your voice keeps it light, quick and unobtrusive - something that helps, never one more thing to manage.
Making sense of it
You'll own and interpret the evidence. Your voice shapes what's genuinely useful - what lightens a caseload rather than adding to it.
The trust that makes it possible
Nothing happens without your consent. Your voice shapes how we earn it - how clearly we explain what we do, and how firmly we hold to what we never do.
Help shape the product - from the inside.
We're forming our first working groups now: small, intentional groups of teachers, SENCOs and parents who help shape PupilPower as we build it. Each voice gets its own space - because a teacher's day, a SENCO's caseload and a parent's questions are genuinely different things.
It's deliberately light. An always-on space to react to ideas and early designs, and a get-together each term. Founder-led for now, so you'll often be talking straight to us. We'd rather keep it small and real than big and noisy - so we're starting with a first cohort, and you can be one of them.
A note on pupils: children's voices matter enormously, and they reach us through our school pilots - with proper consent and safeguarding, never an online sign-up.
